What is CBD?
CBD is also known as cannabis oil and is derived from the hemp plant, which contains 80 different cannabinoids, including THC (the psychoactive component) and CBD (cannabidiol – the medical component). Cannabis oil has no psychoactive effect on cats when dosed properly because there is little to no THC. In fact, it has less than 0.3% THC which makes this CBD product legal in all 50 States.
Ongoing research in veterinary pharmacology is showing that therapeutic levels of CBD can have positive benefits for a number of medical conditions in cats and dogs.
HempRx for Pets contains a total of 450mg of CBD per 1 ounce bottle and provides 0.5 mg naturally occurring CBD per drop.

What is the proper dosage of HempRx for my pet?

How often should I administer HempRx to my pet?
It is recommended that HempRx be administered twice daily.
What is the difference between CBD and THC?
CBD and THC are both medicinal components of the cannabis plant. THC causes a ‘high’ and CBD does not.
What is the difference between hemp and marijuana?
These are both the same plant but differ in the levels of THC and CBD present. Hemp products are from cannabis plants that have very low levels of THC and high levels of CBD. Marijuana products are from cannabis plants that have higher levels of THC.
Is there THC in HempRx?
HempRx contains less than 0.3% of THC. This is not enough THC to cause a high in your pet.
What are the possible side effects of HempRx?
HempRx is generally well tolerated in cats and dogs and side effects are rarely reported. As with any supplement taken orally, digestive upset is possible in the form of vomiting or diarrhea. Please consult your veterinarian before adding any supplement to your pet’s diet.
